BRAZIL: five regions and many beautiful cities


Brazil is divided into five regions: north, northeast, central west, southeast, and south. The biggest state in Brazil is Amazonas, in the north region. The most industrialized where the largest cities are located.
The biggest Brazilian city is Sao Paulo, and the second biggest is Rio de Janeiro, both in the southeast region. Rio is known as one of the most beautiful cities in Brazil, and in the world. However, there are other beautiful cities in Brazil. In the northeast region for example, there are many beautiful state capitals on the Atlantic coast. Brasilia, the capital city, is a planned city designed by the architect Lucio Costa. Oscar Niemeyer, one of the most famous architects of in the world, designed its major buildings. Manaus, the capital city of the state of Amazonas, is in the heart of the Amazon rain forest. The city of Curitiba, in the south region provides the world with a model for the integration of business development, road infrastructure development, and local community development.
